Priority API response - Ja Ja Our API-servers get huge numbers of requests per day and therefore we have given first API response priority for paying users.
HTML response Ja Ja Ja Our API can return responses of different types. HTML response is constructed of pre-formatted HTML and is the only available integration option for Open TestSeek users.
Ajax, JavaScript response - Ja Ja For Pro and Premium TestSeek clients, we offer a wide array of integration options. Ajax and JavaScript allows clients to do easy and yet very good looking integrations.
XML response - Ja Ja XML response allows clients to create fu lly customized implementations and to store data locally.
Store data locally - Ja Ja Although Testseek’s API has redundant servers and historical uptime is above 99.9%, some clients prefer to use our XML response to download and store data locally. This is possible either by using our XML API-response or using Testseek’s partner XML exporting system.
Request w/ MPN/EAN/UPC Ja Ja Ja For Open TestSeek users, our API only accepts requests with EAN, UPC or MPN (also available for Pro and Premium users).
Request w/ Icecat productIDs - Ja Ja Icecat (Icecat.biz) is a long-time partner with TestSeek and is a leading provider of product data (specifications, images etc) with over 10.000 users. As many of our clients are also clients of Icecat, we offer the possibility to make API requests using Icecat’s internal productIDs.
Request w/ your internal productIDs - - Ja For Premium TestSeek clients, we offer the possibility of making API requests with client’s own internal productIDs. API requests with partner’s own productIDs results in super-speedy responses and the highest coverage possible (coverage = % of client’s products with reviews). This is made possible by TestSeek importing client’s entire product catalog and matching client’s internal productIDs to testseek’s productIDs. The matching is done on a continuous basis.
Full matchup of product catalog - - Ja For Premium TestSeek clients, we offer the possibility of making API requests with client’s own internal productIDs. API requests with partner’s own productIDs results in super-speedy responses and the highest coverage possible (coverage = % of client’s products with reviews). This is made possible by TestSeek importing client’s entire product catalog and matching client’s internal productIDs to testseek’s productIDs. The matching is done on a continuous basis.
Support - Ja Ja Open TestSeek comes “as is” with no included support. (TestSeek can help Open TestSeek users with setup support for a one-time fee of 199€.
Tab with reviews - Ja Ja Our “tab with reviews” can be viewed at http://demo.testseek.com next to the “Product Description” tab. NOTE: the implementation showcased in our demo shop is using Ajax which is not included in Open TestSeek (only HTML response is supported), view another example of HTML response here.
Award box - Ja Ja Our “Award box” is a type of API response that includes only the award images. It’s showcased at http://demo.testseek.com and is visible directly under the product image. Another example here.
Button with Ajax-DHTML popup - Ja Ja Our “Ajax-DHTML-button" takes up very little space in the product page and yet enables client’s visitors to access all the review information. When the “button” is clicked, a popup is displayed over the entire page with the review data. It’s also showcased at our demo shop: http://demo.testseek.com, located to the right of the product image. Another example here.
Display content in iFrame - Ja Ja Our API can respond with “full HTML headers” which enables clients to display the data in an iFrame. We have made possible a (if we may say so) pretty smart iFrame implementation which auto-resizes the iFrame automatically and thus makes the (ugly) scrolling-borders non visible. Example: A partner with a setup for a webshop in UK wants to add the same service level for another webshop in .fr and partner’s original price is 99€. Partners cost for the additional country is 99€*0.5 = 45.5€, which means his total price for both shops will be 99 + 45.5 = 144.5€.
